Victim: Odiferous, wig-wearing woman robs Subway at gunpoint

DESTIN, Fla. (WEAR) - Authorities are searching for a woman who robbed a sandwich shop employee Saturday night at gunpoint.

According to the victim, a woman wearing a brown wig entered and left the Subway restaurant in the 1200 block of Airport Road several times before demanding money.

The victim told deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office the woman opened her purse, showing a large semi-automatic pistol she held in her right hand.

The employee complied and the robber left the location after getting a small amount of cash.

The armed robber is described as being a white, 45-year-old woman with a thin face and thin lips. She is approximately 5-foot-5 and weighs 170 pounds.

The victim told deputies the woman was wearing a dark brown jacket, dark pants, a brown wig, prescription glasses, and was "smelly."
