4-year-old boy calls 911 on mom for 'being bad' and eating his ice cream

MILWAUKEE (TNND) — A 4-year-old boy in Wisconsin takes his ice cream seriously and didn't hesitate to tell on his mom by calling the authorities.

The Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department said they got a 911 call on March 4 from a little boy saying his mom was being bad and needed to go to jail.

In the dispatcher's audio, the child can be heard saying "My mommy is being bad."

When the handler asked what was going on, the boy responded by telling officers to "come and get my mommy."

After a few more questions, the mother realizes her son is on the phone and tells the dispatcher, "Oh, this little one got the phone, and he's 4.

"No -- I called the police and I just told her to come and get my mommy and I just told her to put her to jail. So leave me alone,” the boy said.

The child's mother then said, "I ate his ice cream, so that's probably why he's calling 911."

Police said that when Officer Gardinier and Officer Ostergaard responded to the home the boy told them he no longer wanted her to go to jail and just wanted some ice cream.

The department revealed that the officers surprised him with ice cream a day after the call "after he decided he didn't want mom in trouble anymore!"
