Olympian Katie Ledecky compliments Alex Ovechkin's swimming technique in DC fountain

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Record-setting Olympian Katie Ledecky knows a thing or two about winning and just a little bit about swimming.

The five-time Olympic gold medalist and DMV native offered high praise to her fellow D.C. sports star Alex Ovechkin after he dove into a fountain in Georgetown as part of theCapitals' legendary Stanley Cup celebration.

"Nice technique,"Ledecky tweeted atOvechkin, along with a photo of him doing what appears to be the breaststroke.

After all,Ovechkin has made a living with his exploits on the ice, so just ad "swimming that impresses an Olympian" to his list of aquatic achievements.
