NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) – All eyes were on the skies in Middle Tennessee on Thursday as the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels put on quite a show.

Pilots maneuvered F/A-18 aircrafts on a great weather day leaving a trail of jetstreams across the sky.

It's all part of "Operation America Strong" where the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds roar above U.S. cities to honor those fighting on the front lines against COVID-19.

Operation America Strong has already made several flyovers with its world-renowned stunt jet teams. Members say this is a way to say thank you to the selfless healthcare workers, first responders and others fighting COVID-19 each and every day.

Erin Bryd, who caught the show from a rooftop, said it gave her chills.

Folks from Murfreesboro to Nolensville, to Franklin, Brentwood, Berry Hill, Belle Mead and of course, downtown Nashville, all got a treat for their eyes.
