'Hocus Pocus 2' officially confirmed, director named

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Sanderson Sisters are officially coming back!

Variety reports that Adam Shankman will be directing "Hocus Pocus 2" for Disney's streaming service, Disney+.

Shankman also confirmed that he will be directing a sequel to Disney's "Enchanted" as well. It will be called "Disenchanted".

The original "Hocus Pocus" is a cult classic film from 1993. It starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as three witch sisters who were resurrected 300 years after being cursed.

Reportedly, the original actors are not confirmed to be attached to the sequel, but Disney apparently "hopes" that they will reprise their roles.
