Sinclair Broadcast Group and The Salvation Army raise more than $700K for COVID-19 relief

Sinclair Broadcast Group and The Salvation Army raised more than $700,000 to help those who have been stricken by the COVID-19 pandemic, in a nationwide campaign called "Sinclair Cares, Your Neighbor Needs You."

The campaign began on March 31 with the original goal of raising $100,000. Sinclair Broadcast Group will match the first $100,000 in donations with a check of its own.

On Monday, April 6, Sinclair and The Salvation Army raised the goal for donations to $350,000. As the donations keep rolling in, the goal is also expected to keep growing.
