Not being able to visit loved ones in senior living facilities has been difficult for some families.

It's taken a toll on residents as well.

Gardens of Pelham Assisted Living residents haven’t had a touch or hug from friends and family for months.

Administrator Mary Neff said its been tough.

Neff said now having pen-pals available has made a big difference.
