People and pets rescued from flooding in Alexandria, Louisiana

ALEXANDRIA, La. (STORYFUL) - A storm over central Louisiana brought heavy flooding to Alexandria on July 30.

Local news reports said multiple roads were impassable and some residences were without power on Tuesday.

Video filmed by the Alexandria Police Department shows people carrying a person, dogs, and belongings through waist-deep water in a neighborhood on the south side of the city.
