WASHINGTON (SBG) -- New Jersey Transit police officers recently responded to a report of a lifeless baby, and video of the moment has been released by officials.

The video shows officers arrive at Newark Penn Station inside of the women's bathroom. At first, officers couldn't find the baby they were ordered to respond to, but things changed rather quickly.

As other officers were asking the presumed mother whether she just gave birth,Officer Bryan Richards rushed with the baby out of the door and to the nearest hospital together with another cop.

The baby was not breathing and looked gray until Officer Richards began chest compressions. Eventually, noise could be heard coming from the baby's mouth and the infant began to breathe.
