Ohio woman celebrates 109 years of life, shares wisdom and wit

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTOV) — A resident of the East Ohio Regional Hospital Skilled Care Facility is celebrating a milestone!

Doris Morrison, a Colerain woman, is marking her 109th birthday.

Activities Director Jackie Polivka asked Doris a number of questions for a video on her special day.

Nothing I can do about it. It's going to come. I can't stop it," she said. "I've lived a long time, seen an awful lot of things in my life. Some good and some bad. I expect to live a little longer.

Doris was one of almost a dozen siblings. She married David Morrison in 1936 and lived in her home on Colerain Pike for 83 years.
