In a viral video that's been shared, liked and tweeted thousands of times, a woman is seen throwing large amounts of tea at a worker inside a Taco Bell fast food restaurant.

The 6-minute video, shot inside a Taco Bell restaurant on FM 78 in Converse, shows a woman yelling at a worker inside the restaurant. The incident quickly escalates and the two eventually start throwing tea at each other from canisters in the dining room and behind the counter. The woman also eventually tosses the canister over the counter, but it doesn't hit anyone.

Richard Lopez was at the drive-thru window and called police.

"I was just trying to get my wife, who just had her (his daughter), some tacos," Lopez said, adding that he was forced to bring home chicken an hour later.

A younger man in the video, who identifies himself as the woman's son, also argues with the worker, but does not appear to get physical during the exchange.

Converse police identified the woman as Margarita Godinez. She was charged with criminal trespass, pled no contest and was later sentenced to a day in jail. Her son, whose name was not released because he's a juvenile, was also arrested.

As for the employee, he seems unwilling to back down as he repeatedly yells profanities at the woman and calls himself a "pistolero." When police arrive, the man identifies himself as a manager and tells officers the woman was fired and is there to pick up her last check.

"He (the manager) took off his shirt, speaking Spanish, saying, 'Where did I get these tats from?'" Lopez said.

Toward the end of the exchange, Converse police officers show up and take the woman into custody.

Taco Bell released the following statement:

Taco Bell and SAT Taco, LLC, the franchise owner of this Converse, TX location in no way tolerate this behavior. This incident actually took place at the beginning of this year, and the manager in the video no longer works for the brand. The franchisee cooperated with local law enforcement to press charges on the ex-employee and her son for all damages.
