WATCH: SC police officer's 'Happy' dance will make you smile

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) - Walterboro Police Department Officer Cody Pruitt was in a dancing mood Saturday, and he didn't mind showing it.

The officer found himself grooving along with Pharrell Williams' "Happy" while working security at the Colleton County Rice Festival.

Christina Cook was at the festival with her family. Cook says her daughter spotted Pruitt dancing, and encouraged her to start recording a video on her phone.

Cook whipped out her phone and we're all "Happy" she did.

Pruitt was named the City of Walterboro's police officer of the year in 2017.
