MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - Viewer-submitted video showed a scary incident at the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) on Monday.
An Allegiant flight is shown attempting to land, but drifting sideways due to the winds from Tropical Storm Irma.
Kirk Lovell, spokesperson for MYR, confirmed the incident did happen at the airport.

He said there were multiple canceled inbound and outbound flights and multiple diverted flights due to winds.
