PARIS, Tenn. -- Twelve handguns are stolen from a gun store in Paris, Tennessee.
The "smash and grab" at Guns and Gear of Paris, on Austin Peay Memorial Parkway, at around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday took about 30 seconds from the time the four masked suspects rammed the front of the store with their vehicle to the time they left, according to the Henry County Sheriff's Office. Mostly Glocks were taken in the incident.
This case could cross over county and state lines, according to the sheriff's office.
The vehicle involved in the burglary is described as a silver early 2000's model Chevrolet Cruz.
The ATF is investigating, along with local law enforcement. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 731-642-1672 or the crime tips line at 731-642-0929.
