Newborns pose as Clark Griswold, Cousin Eddie for 'Christmas Vacation' photoshoot

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A photographer has recreated some iconic scenes from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation in a newborn baby photo shoot released just in time for the holidays.

The results are hilariously cute, and yes, we're serious Clark.

In one photo, Cousin Eddie is lying on a blanket of snow next to "Snots" the dog with the iconic RV in the background.

Another photo shows Clark Griswold and Cousin Eddie resting on the couch as the family's Christmas tree is on fire...thanks to the help of a little Squirrel perched on one of the baby's shoulders. On the lefthand side of the photo are a couple of moose mugs, perfect for eggnog.

No photoshoot would be complete without Clark's daydreaming scene.Clark's mind wanders as he dreams of an in-ground pool that he's worried he can't afford without his Christmas bonus money - but his daydream brings a surprise, a visit from the lingerie counter girl Mary.

Photographer Amy Hael, who owns Coffee Creek Studio in Shelbyville, Indiana, said figuring out all the little details for the photos took a lot of work, but it paid off.
