An Ottumwa woman is accused this week of stealing a stranger’s identity to shop online.

Annie Sue Henry, 34, was arrested Wednesday, and is charged with Identity Theft.

Online court records show Henry obtained the victim’s name, date of birth and social security number from an unknown source. Police say Henry then used that information to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of online merchandise, sometime between February and march of this year.

Henry was released from custody Wednesday after posting bond. She has waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
