It's unknown if President Donald Trump will be attending this year's White House Correspondents’ dinner since the comedian headlining the event previously shared some harsh words for the commander-in-chief.

Comedian Amber Ruffin was announced to be the featured entertainer at the annual dinner happening on April 26 in Washington, D.C., according to a news release provided by the White House Correspondents’ Association.

A reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday if Trump plans on attending the dinner after the comedian called him a "toddler with his pants pulled down."

"When he makes his decision, I will let you all know," Leavitt responded.

She added the choice for the entertainment was an "interesting" one.

According to Leavitt, the invitation to the dinner arrived to the White House.

"I have the President's invitation on my desk. I have the invitation for myself on my desk as well," she told the reporter inside the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room.

The press secretary plans on talking with her boss about a decision to attend.

According to CNN, Trump did not attend the dinner at all during his first term.

The annual event honors journalists who cover the White House.
