PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (WGME) - A Portsmouth woman is accused of stealing handicapped parking for at least seven years.

Police say 52-year-old Siobhan Hyman parked at a city garage which allows handicapped drivers free parking for up to 24 hours.

Officials say she allegedly used a handicapped license plate registered to a relative and a handicapped placard issued to a relative who is now dead.

They say she parked at the garage for seven years and signed paperwork saying she was handicapped.

Police believe Hyman is not, in fact, eligible for that parking.

She is facing two charges now, including a felony.
