Navy veteran gets his diploma 60 years later

BATAVIA, Ohio (WKRC) - There was a special moment on Friday night that was 60 years in the making.

Ed Shinkle joined Batavia High School's senior class and got his diploma.

He never graduated because he joined the Navy.

He received a standing ovation on his way back his seat.
