Many people dream of winning the lottery, but one man took it a step further and played the numbers he saw while he was sleeping.

On June 11, the winning numbers for the Virginia Lottery's Bank a Million were 13-14-15-16-17-18 and the Bonus Ball 19 — all in sequence.

The "Bank a Million" game is where individuals pick six different numbers from 1 through 40. The players can win $1 million, $500,000 and $250,000 after taxes, depending on whether the person wagers $2 or splits the wager two or four ways.

Alonzo Coleman, of Virginia, matched all of the first six numbers, which gave him $250,000 after he split his $2 ticket four ways using the"Play Your Way" feature.

It was hard to believe!” he told lottery officials. “It still hasn’t hit me yet.

But the retiree said it wasn't just matching the numbers that were so incredible, but he told lottery officials those numbers "came to him in a dream."

The odds of winning any Bank a Million prize are 1 in about 18, while the odds of taking a top prize are 1 in 3.8 million, lottery officials said.

WJLA reported the ticket was sold at the Glenside Corner Mart in Henrico County.
