On Wednesday morning four Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers were called down to the briefing room at the department’s headquarters.

The officers faced a line of cameras and reporters prepared to take questions on their recent police work. About two minutes into this lookalike press conference, a person dressed as a giant Dunkin’ Donut came from the back holding a Vegas Golden Knights hockey stick.

The officers were confused at first ,and then representatives from Dunkin’ Donuts Las Vegas explained the press conference was a sham, and that the officers would be going to Game two of the Stanley Cup final on Wednesday night.

It turns out that Dunkin’ Donuts Las Vegas had some tickets to the game, but rather than giving them to an executive, they spread the hockey love to Metro.

All of the officers were very excited. Officer Mark Mulligan, has been with the department for two years, says this is his very first hockey game.

"I've never been to a hockey game and my first one is going to be a Stanley Cup final. I cannot believe that, that's insane,” said Officer Mulligan.

This isn’t a cheap gift. The lowest price tickets for the game on third party sites start around $750.

Game two takes place at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at T-Mobile arena. The Golden Knights currently lead the series 1-0.
