'Just let it go:' South Carolina officers arrest Elsa during winter storm

PICKENS, S.C. (WPDE) — Police in Upstate South Carolina released rare body camera footage of the arrest of a well-known character.

UPDATE:Elsa breaks out of jail and is expected to bring another winter storm to the Carolinas

Elsa, from Disney's "Frozen" franchise, was seen in Pickens during a winter storm on Sunday and her accomplice, the abominable snowman, is still at large.

Officers said she unleashed more snow and ice.

Elsa was able to be detained after a short foot chase and no one was injured or severely frozen.

The department made this parody video to remind drivers to be safe on the road.
