BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WCIV) — Authorities with the Boynton Beach Police Department in Florida are looking for a group of good Samaritans who helped a driver who was suffering from a medical emergency.

On May 5, the motorist's vehicle began to roll into a busy intersection.

A group of people quickly rushed into action, surrounding the vehicle and bringing it to a stop.

According to officials, one woman took a dumbbell from her car and a man smashed the rear passenger’s side window with it. Another person climbed through the window to unlock one of the doors.

Authorities said the crowd helped pull the car into a nearby parking lot so the driver could receive medical attention. A nurse at the scene was on the phone with dispatchers and assisted the driver until the fire department arrived.

Police added that they've been in touch with several people seen in the video capturing the incident, and that officers are hoping to bring everyone back together at the police department to recognize them.
