BOGUS BASIN, Idaho (KBOI) - Bogus Basin's highly anticipated mountain coaster, the "Glade Runner," will open to the public on Friday.

The ride can go as fast as 25 miles per hour and speed can be adjusted to the rider's comfort. In addition to brakes, there is a built-in system to make sure that the cars don't go over a certain speed for safety.

“We are very excited to bring this fantastic new attraction to Bogus Basin in time for the holidays,” said Brad Wilson, general manager. “It will be awesome to watch Treasure Valley families having fun on the first mountain coaster in the Pacific Northwest.”

The coaster will operate 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. A single ride will cost $15 per person or $25 for two people. If you want to ride again, it will be $10 per person and $15 for two.

Bogus recommends people dress warmly for the ride with winter coats, gloves and hats. You will need to be at least 16 years old to ride alone.
