We've known for months that Disney is launching a streaming service that will unlock the riches of the company's vast vault that includes Marvel,Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and many of the family-friendly titles recently acquired from Twentieth Century Fox. Friday at D23, the company's annual fan even, audiences were shown trailers from some of the exclusive, original content that Disney plans to release in the coming months after the platform goes live in November.

Here's a look at the sizzle reel, a sampling of the many feature films and celebrated television programs that will be available only on Disney+.

Star Wars

There are three new Star Wars series planned for Disney+ featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cassian Andor and the launch title "The Mandalorian." The beloved animated"Clone Wars" is returning as well. (Photo: Disney)

On the Star Wars front, it was confirmed that Ewan McGregor will be reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi on a series set between the prequel and original trilogies and confirmed that "The Mandalorian" series would be available when Disney+ launches in November. We also know that a Cassian Andor and K-2S0 series is in the works with Diego Luna. And, if you've forgotten, we're also getting a seventh season for the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel had actors, writers and directors on hand to talk about the previously announced "What If...?;" "Loki" withTom Hiddleston;"The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" featuring Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl and Emily VanCamp;and "WandaVision" series. There new Marvel series were also announced for Disney+: "She-Hulk," "Moon Knight" and "Ms. Marvel." We also know that there will be a "Hawkeye" series starring Jeremy Renner.
