Even death, it seems, is not the end for the Black Widow.

Ten years after her introduction in “Iron Man 2,” Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow is finally set to star in her own film next summer, despite having sacrificed herself to help save the world in this year’s “Avengers: Endgame.”

Marvel released the first teaser trailer for “Black Widow” Tuesday, featuring the former Russian spy on a solo adventure exploring her past in the wake of the Avengers’ fracturing in 2016's “Captain America: Civil War.”

“We have unfinished business,” Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff says at one point. “We have to go back to where it all started.”

That unfinished business involves David Harbour as a rather out-of-shape Red Guardian and Florence Pugh as fellow KGB Red Room trainee Yelena Belova, as well as a battle with the Taskmaster, a masked, bow-and-arrow equipped mercenary.

Directed by Cate Shortland, “Black Widow” is set for release on May 1, 2020.
