Record-setting astronaut Christina Koch to read children's books on Instagram

WASHINGTON (SBG) – Looking for more ways to entertain the kids while you're both stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Starting weekdays at 4 p.m. ET, astronaut Christina Koch will read a children's book on Instagram live so everyone can enjoy NASA at home.

You can follow Koch on Instagram here.She recently returned from 328 days in space aboard the ISS, the longest single spaceflight completed by a woman.

The Associated Press reports the U.S. record for longest space flight is 340 days, set by Scott Kelly in 2015-2016. The world record is 15 months, done in the 1990s by a Russian cosmonaut aboard the former Mir space station.
