WASHINGTON (7News) — A new exhibit showcasing some artworks by law enforcement officers opened at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Northwest, D.C. Saturday.
The exhibit, titled Officers as Artists: The Creative Expression of Those Who Serve, features paintings, photography, sculptures and mosaics.

"Through this event, the museum aims to shed light on the role of art and discover the many ways in which creative expression serves law enforcement officers," the exhibit's organizers said in a press release.
The exhibit also includes a story about each officer, and how they use art to cope with the challenges of serving in law enforcement.

The exhibit will remain open until Aug. 30, 2025.
