Country music icon Wynonna Judd is setting the record straight on her stiff performance at Wednesday night's CMA Awards.

After the star took the stage in a duet with Jelly Roll, the performance sparked concern from some fans on social media.

Judd later detailed in a TikTok video why she grabbed Jelly Roll's jacket and became seemingly immobile.

"Okay, so they say 'don't read the comments,'" Judd said. "I've read the comments and I'm just gonna come clean with y'all."

Apparently, she just had the jitters.

"I was so freaking nervous. I got out there and I looked at Jelly Roll — I wanted it to be so good for him."

The country star adds that she's "such a fan" of Jelly Roll and was grateful he asked her to sing with him. Watch Judd's TikTok here.
