George Lopez releasing his first comedy special on Netflix

WASHINGTON (SBG) — The countdown is on for comedian George Lopez. The actor is releasing a comedy special on June 30 and it's heading to Netflix.

This is Lopez's first special on the streaming service. He's also had four onHBO, the most recent being in 2017.

His latest show, "George Lopez: We'll Do It For Half," refers to his famous (or infamous) line.

The story dates back to January of this year. An unfounded rumor was running rampant that Iran was offering an $80 million bounty for killing President Donald Trump. In an Instagram post discussing the story, Lopez commented, "We'll do it for half." Lopez says his post was a joke.
