Eugene Police arrest NBA rookie and former Oregon Duck Tyler Dorsey on suspicion of DUII

EUGENE, Ore. - A player nicknamed "Mr. March" for his role in the Oregon Ducks reaching the Final Four in 2017 who just finished his rookie NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks faces charges of DUII after Eugene Police spotted his SUV driving with its lights off early Saturday morning.

Eugene Police arrested Tyler Quincey Dorsey, 22, of Atlanta on charges of DUII, Driving without Lights, and Open Container.

According to police, an officer spotted a Land Rover Discovery on Broadway in Eugene with its lights off. The officer pulled the SUV over as the vehicle turned onto Agate Street.

"The vehicle came to a rolling stop, and then rolled forward again before coming to a complete stop," according to a police report. "Upon speaking with Dorsey, the officer suspected impairment. There was an open container of alcohol on the passenger side floorboard. After an investigation, Dorsey was charged with DUII, Driving without Lights, and Open Container."
