Betty White doing just fine during pandemic, but she has some thoughts on it

WASHINGTON (SBG) — America's sweetheart Betty White says despite the coronavirus pandemic, she has been blessed with incredibly good health — and self isolation is keeping it that way.

The Emmy-winning actress has been staying in her southern California home. The national treasure herself said the pandemic is "Mother Nature’s way of telling us all to slow down,"Closer Weekly reports.

In true queen fashion,White has kept herself busy with reading the newspaper, doing crossword puzzles and munching on her favorite snack: hot dogs and french fries with an occasional sip of a vodka martini.

White, 98, said COVID-19 is serious, but the world has made it through worse things.

Her message? Slow down and enjoy family, friends and pets.
