The “Bachelor” franchise has been around for over two decades and gone through transformations and spin-offs, but one thing has remained constant: that humungous mansion.

But it’s time for an upgrade and HGTV is bringing 12 former “Bachelor” universe contestants “back to the mansion where it all began to give the famed property a dramatic makeover in a new competition series,” per the official announcement for “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.”

“When we learned the Bachelor Mansion needed a serious makeover, we knew only HGTV could give the property a renovation worthy of the name,” says Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery.

“Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer will also host the series and challenge fan favorites, including Dean Bell, Jill Chin, Noah Erb, Allyshia Gupta, Tammy Ly, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon, Christopher Stallworth, and Joan Vassos.

“For the first time ever we’re pulling back the curtain and revealing the mansion as you’ve never seen it before,” Palmer said in a press release.

“Our 12 contestants have already lived through the twists and turns of 'The Bachelor’ franchise. They know this is not going to be easy. And the clock is ticking because this renovation has to be finished before a new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ begins.”

In each episode, judges Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron will be joined by a guest judge to evaluate the transformed spaces, from familiar spots to never-before-seen rooms. Some of the guest judges include Nate Berkus, Rachel Bilson, former “Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher, former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe, and HGTV host and designer Christina Haack.

After six-episodes, only one “Bachelor” alum will walk away with $100,000 and bragging rights.

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover" premieres March 2 on HGTV.
