BOSTON, Mass. (STORYFUL) -- The Boston Red Sox said they reported to police after a drone was flown over Fenway Park on Thursday, April 11, during a game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

According to Mass Live, the drone circled the stadium and “fell rapidly” a number of times.

“During the late innings of tonight’s game, a drone was flown above the ballpark by an unidentified individual,” the Red Sox said in a statement to WBZ-TV.

“The operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) around large stadium events is in violation of FAA regulations and the club has reported the incident to the Boston Police Department for investigation.”

The Red Sox came from 5-0 behind to win the game 7-6.
