Young girl attacked by coyote in Illinois front yard

VILLA Park, Ill. (STORYFUL)- A five-year-old girl was attacked by a coyote in her front yard in Villa Park, Illinois, on Sept. 24, her parents reported.

Christine Przybylski made her way down her drive to the street, and as she skipped back towards the house, a coyote, seen in the background of this CCTV video, steps into her front yard. The footage shows Christine about to get on a swing when the coyote starts to attack.

“I feeled its ear, It almost bited my rib,” she told local media.

“He really pursued her violently, and I’m so glad she got away,” Christine’s mum Elizabeth told reporters.

Local police issued a warning on the incident.

“Villa Park Police have been in contact with representatives of the DuPage County Forest Preserve and the Illinois Conservation Police for assistance in dealing with this situation,” police said.
