WASHINGTON (SBG) -- James Hunt has been doing his best to bring smiles and joy to residents in his neighborhood as quarantine continues worldwide.
The 8-year-old decided to dress up in a T-Rex outfit his sister wore last Halloween while going for his daily walks alongside his mom or other family members.
News 12 New Jersey reports neighbors inFlorham Park, New Jersey have noticed the kind yet funny gesture that Hunt has committed himself to wearing everyday.
"I think it's a wonderful wonderful thing for the neighborhood for everybody. He's waving to me now. It just makes you feel good," neighbor John Modrowsky told the news outlet.
Hunt says his goal is to makeyoung, old, and middle-aged people "really happy."
"My mom just said what about if you wave to some cars. And the first time I was like, No that's not going to happen," said Hunt. "But then I kept doing it and doing it and I kept feeling I should wave at cars, and that turned out to be a simple act of kindness. I know that people love it. They're honking and they're like oh my gosh. There's a dinosaur."
Hunt tells News 12 New Jersey that he plans on continuing acts of kindness even after coronavirus is over.
