Security officers tackle 'belligerent' LA Rams fans before removing them from stadium

Two men in Los Angeles Rams shirts grappled with security staff and police at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum during the team’s week two game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Footage filmed by Brian Moyers shows security officials clambering over stadium seats and fighting to subdue two men who are actively resisting them.

The men are each put in a chokehold and struck at least once by security staff during the incident. Both men were eventually handcuffed and escorted away.

In a message to Storyful, Moyers said one of the men was antagonizing others at the game.

“The fan was belligerent. He was yelling at Saints fans. Got emotional, started crying, and left. He came back a short time later, then the security came in and started to fight the guys.”

Storyful has reached out to Apex Security and Los Angeles police for comment on the incident.
