Searcy couple married 60 years visiting daily through window

Al and Melba Louks will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this month, but have not been able to touch each other since March.

Melba is in a rehab facility in Searcy after suffering a stroke last year and the COVID-19 restrictions have kept the couple from being able to physically interact.

Al has been meeting Melba at a glass door or window outside of the facility every day since the pandemic began. In an interview, he told Channel 7 that he will continue to go to her window and see her as long as she is in the facility or until restrictions are lifted.
