FOXFIELD, Colo. (STORYFUL) - Firefighters were called after lightning struck a natural gas line in Foxfield, Colorado, on June 17, with the flames spreading to a nearby signpost.

Footage from the South Metro Fire Rescue shows the sign on east Hinsdale Avenue engulfed in flames. Luckily the fire, which couldn’t be extinguished with water, did not spread further while the crew was waiting for help from a local energy company, Xcel Energy Colorado.

The fire rescue service tweeted that the fire had been put out four hours after it sent out the first alert.
