The United States Postal Service (USPS) worker who found a missing toddler in Maryland was reunited with the boy and his family on Monday, February 24, as shown in this footage from the Howard County Police Department.

Two-year-old Ethan Adeyemi of Elkridge, Maryland, went missing on Wednesday, February 5, sparking a county-wide search that ended the next morning when USPS worker Keith Rollins found the boy curled up on the side of I-95, local media reported.

More than 100 police officers, fire personnel and volunteers had searched for Ethan through the night, the police department said. Howard County Police Chief Lisa Myers praised Rollins for paying attention to alerts that officials put out. This video captures the moment when the Rollins family, the Adeyemi family, and the police department came together again to celebrate Ethan’s safe return.

“God just put me in the right place at the right time,” Rollins said.

Ethan’s tearful mother thanked Rollins, telling him she was “eternally grateful.”
