Police pull person from burning home in Georgia

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (STORYFUL) - Police officers in Clayton County, Georgia, pulled a person from a burning building in a dramatic rescue on July 1.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at Deer Creek Mobile Home Park in Stockbridge and found a trailer on fire when they arrived.

According to police, officers breached the window, created a human ladder, and used a bystander’s ladder to help pull the person to safety.

Footage of the rescue posted by the Clayton County Police Department shows officers breaching the window and pulling the person to safety.

Police said the victim was transported to Piedmont Hospital. The victim suffered smoke inhalation but made a full recovery, police said.
