Police were dispatched to a home in Fort Collins, Colorado, recently after they received a hang-up call from the address.

A Facebook post by Fort Collins Police Services features audio from the visit, where it was revealed the call was made by a six-year-old girl named Natalie who was worried about her stuffed bunny.

Natalie’s mom and grandma can be heard explaining the situation to Officer Dane. Natalie’s mom gave her one of her old phones to play with. It was out of service, but still had a 911 call function that worked.

Dane then helped patch up the “injured” bunny, before telling Natalie that while she can call the emergency services whenever she personally needs them, she should not phone them for stuffed animal-related purposes in the future.
