An Irish family stuck indoors due to coronavirus measures held a makeshift St Patrick’s Day parade in their home on March 17.

The eldest child, Luna, led the parade on a rocking horse followed by her younger sister, Roisin, on a tricycle. Various other toys and stuffed animals trailed behind them.

The children’s mother, Claire Roche, played the role of parade announcer, welcoming all the participants, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the Teletubbies, and “doctor unicorn.”

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar announced on March 9 that all St Patrick’s festivities and parades would be canceled in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. As of Tuesday afternoon, Ireland had reported 223 total confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus and two deaths.
