Former police officer stands for national anthem for first time in almost 14 years

Bill Weigt, a member of the Peoria Police Department's honor guard, was able to stand for the national anthem for the first time in nearly 14 years.

Weigt was also able to present the American flag.

The former officer became paralyzed after he was shot in the line of duty.
