Dashcam captures moment truck slams into Florida Highway Patrol car

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (STORYFUL) - A Florida Highway Patrol trooper came close to injury on July 1 when a truck slammed into his parked patrol car on the side of Interstate 75 in Collier County.

This dashcam footage shows the moment of the collision, and the explosion of debris as the truck scraped along the side of the vehicle at high speed.

Florida Highway Patrol tweeted both front and rear camera videos and warned people to drive safe over the July 4 holiday. They said the trooper involved was okay.
