GASTONIA, N.C. (WKRC) - A North Carolina bride and groom made an adjustment to wedding plans to make sure a special guest could attend.

Brittany Feldman wanted her grandfather at her wedding ceremony, so she and her husband Josh got married at his assisted-living facility, according to WSOC.

The staff invited them to get married in the courtyard. They opened a door so that he could follow everything as close as possible.

"We didn't want him to miss out on this," she said.

"It was a no brainer," Josh added.

Brittany says that her grandfather was elated, and told Brittany: "I'm the happiest man in the whole world."
