SAN ANTONIO - Bryce Wisdom, the young Judson football player who inspired San Antonio with his courageous cancer fight, died at 11:39 pm Sunday night. He was 17.
News 4 featured Wisdom in the summer of 2019 after he had was declared cancer free.

Wisdom was diagnosed with Wilms tumor, a form of pediatric Kidney cancer after feeling discomfort in 2019. Cancerous tumors reappeared and Bryce continued to battle courageously through many different operations and treatments.
His courage inspired the entire community as #BryceStrong took off on social media. He received many gifts and words of encouragement from celebrities including Seattle Seahawks stars Tre Flowers and Jamal Adams, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and many others. He was an honorary member of the UTSA football family and was featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show.
Throughout his struggle Bryce continued to flash his infectious smile and lifted all around him with his optimism.
Wisdom is survived by his three brothers Roisean, Rashad and Miles, and his parents Richard and Diana. He will forever be remembered for his indomitable spirit and his grace during the most trying times. He was a truly remarkable young man.
