It's week five of the Woodhouse Thursday Night Lights presented by S.O.S. Heating and Air, and this week is a class A matchup between two schools with a tradition of winning state championships as Omaha Central visits Omaha north.

The Eagles won their first game against Omaha Northwest 47-0, but are now trying to get back on track after three straight losses, most recently to Elkhorn South last week.

"It's how you get better. You have to play the best teams and North is the standard in OPS. We want to take our best shot at them and give them a tough game," Central head coach Jay Landstrom told Fox 42.

On the other side of the ball, the opposite has happened for North. After losing their first game against Bellevue West 28-26, the Vikings have won three straight, most recently in a 42-10 victory over Benson.

Omaha North head coach Larry Martin says he wants his team to keep grinding out results:

"In our first three games they've shown a lot of resiliency and have kept fighting, and for that we've been rewarded. This week is a new opportunity to get better."

The game kicks off at Omaha Northwest High School just after 7 p.m. Thursday night on CW Omaha, the Fox 42 app, or can be streamed at the top of this article after kick off.
