FRYEBURG, Maine (WGME) - Deborah Cloutier is making a difference for animals hoping to find their forever homes this holiday season.

Cloutier will spend Christmas Eve at the Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg as she has for the last few years.

She'll spend the night preparing stockings and watching holiday movies with the animals all while raising money.

"I stuff stockings for the dogs and just give them a little extra love and attention on a night when they really should be in forever homes,” Cloutier said.

Cloutier hopes to raise $20,000 this year.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the event.
