Woman says she crashed her SUV into parked cars because of flip-flops

COHASSET, Mass. (WKRC) - What would cause anyone to drive their SUV over a couple of parked cars? For a woman in Massachusetts, she says it was her shoes' fault.

The 67-year-old is blaming her pair of flip-flops, saying that one sandal got wedged in the pedals of her vehicle. This allegedly caused her Honda Pilot to drive onto the top of two parked cars.

Apparently, driving with inadequate footwear isn't a crime, but police still cited the woman for "negligent operation."
